Practice Area
International Arbitration
Institutional arbitration, investor-state disputes, and the recognition of foreign awards in Korea.
Our Approach
Taegwang acts as counsel in international arbitration proceedings before the ICC, SIAC, KCAB, HKIAC, and other leading institutions. The practice combines deep experience in Korean dispute resolution with substantive international arbitration practice gained at global firms in Singapore, London, and Seoul.
We represent both claimants and respondents in cross-border commercial arbitration, with particular focus on matters arising out of joint ventures, distribution agreements, construction projects, and shareholder disputes. We also advise on investor-state disputes and the recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards in Korean courts.
Our team has contributed to international arbitration practice through publications in the Global Arbitration Review and Kluwer Arbitration Blog, and participates in the development of arbitral practice in the region.
